I'm the same way, but i won't get flats until I pay for them myself, probably in college.funrunner wrote:These aren't spikes, but has anyone tried the Adizero PRs? 3.9 oz. flat would be really nice for those courses with paved sections.
I just realized that I'm pretty girly in how much I like shoes.

yeah i know..i think i might get milers this year (i need to find my size in guys) and then ill think about those maybe for track depending on the cost..i know if i get in national honor society as a sophomore i bet they'll let me have em and i should get in...sweet.
at our school, you can't get inducted into NHS until you are a junior.
same here, but it really screws with sports, because you have to tutor alot after school and thats going to interfer with xc and track

Yeah, and the PRs are $90, so I'll probably just order a $40 pair of spikeless forevers. Hopefully they'll be a little more aggressive than my current flats.FK wrote:I'm the same way, but i won't get flats until I pay for them myself, probably in college.funrunner wrote:These aren't spikes, but has anyone tried the Adizero PRs? 3.9 oz. flat would be really nice for those courses with paved sections.

If you look around, you could probably find a 20% off code. I think I saw one on Dyestat.AudienceOfOne wrote:ordering forevers today. 50 bucks on eastbay.

They're the zoom streak xc's, so there pretty much made for ashphalt (road races) or grassy xc courses. I'd recommend them if you like the feel of the milers, they are quite similar. You need really strong feet if you buy the mayfly's. They have pretty much no support or cushioning (why they're so light) and they even say only use for a max of 100km.

Yeah, I thought they looked like the marathoners. If I got mayflys I'd only use them for 5ks (only road races I run). I've heard good things about the streaks, though.

I don’t have spikes either…..I’ve never run in them…..
I’ve heard that you don’t really need them for xc, more for track?. Is that true?
