    there is plastic on the bottom but I meant it is made like a track shoe with xc materials. At least thats what the guy at the store said and he is a fast runner

    +1 I just looked at the bottom of the shoe and I thought the red part was plastic but its just a harder rubber.

    I want those adidas spikes so bad but in blue and pink. But it says they're back-ordered till the 22 and that's the day of my first meet.

    I ran with them for the first time in a hilly time trial race. i think i didn't break em' in enough so my ankles were hurting a bit. :/

    mmm i just got the saucony kilkennys they seem pretty good. they didn't have the milers in a small enough size for me or any other good guy shoes so next time ill just order offline since i know my size in guys.

    I tried them on, but I didn't really like them.

    So I ended up with the brooks, which I like. My first pair of xc spikes =]
    question though, are they suppose to have a lower heel?? like they're suppose to make you run on the balls of your foot right?? Because I usually run heel toe and it feels funny.
    sorry if thats a lame question, I may not even notice it during a real race.
