    and running keeps me mindful of what i put into my body. like if i eat like crap, i will run like crap, and thats not acceptable, so it forces me to eat fairly healthy (with the occasional junk binge).

    for dinner tonight i had a bagel with cream cheese, a veggie burger, a bowl of cereal, a toaster strudel, a cookie, and im still hungry.

    dude i eat like a tonnnnnnnnnnn. lol when we have pasta nights everyone on our team has at least 4 plates overflowing with amazing pasta and like 10 breadsticks and a lot of chocolate milk. my mom always gets frustrated when i have the team over cuz she has to spend so much money on food cuz we raid every house and eat all their food. When I'm off like my two weeks or w/e inbetween seasons i don't watch what i eat as much and i always gain like at least 3 lbs. but then i start running and its all good. i love food.

    at our pasta dinner someone made some homemade sourdough bread and the varsity girls team (13 of us) ate 4 LOAVES of bread...they guys only ate two

    I've always eaten a lot (I was the 5th boy my father had, and none of them had eaten nearly as much as I). Our Gorcery bill for just me and my (oldish) mother is usually over $100.

    a couple friends && I went through a whole pack of double stuffed oreos with PB in like 30 min. I've gotta admit that I wasn't the top contributor though. I ate like 2 maybe.

    I have a real overeating problem... I eat a ton because I'm always hungry, and recently I've gained some weight... I'm not fat, and my BMI is still ok, but I'm definately not as skinny as I used to be. It's not that I eat unhealthy food, it's just that I eat waaaaaayyyy too much healthy food. luckily it hasn't really affected my running that I can tell... but I'm sort of wondering if I would be faster if I was carrying a little less extra weight.

    Oh no. Don't think like that. If it hasn't affected your running, you're perfectly fine. A little extra might actually be good for you, because you're growing. You're perfect just the way you are, and don't let running affect that.

    Yeah, I recognize I need to be careful, but I would like to point out that you don't know how much I weigh, (140lbs, I'm 5'6''... that seems a little heavy to me, because a year ago I weighed 126, and I haven't grown) or really what I look like. But anyway, no worries because I don't have the willpower to change my eating habits too much. And I don't think I'm growing much anymore, because I've already gone past my expected height, and I only grew about 1/8 in. last year.
