aw i'm sorry pinthin. why don't you want to do spring track? i know what you mean about not being able to control your emotions though.

at least you have other things you're involved in. when you have nothing else but track in your life, it kind of sucks when you lose it Crying or Very sad

The guy had a good message in the sense that he screwed up big and now his kids pay the price for him screwing up, but it just ticks me off that he was only in jail for 9 years! He killed a man!
My dad has been in jail for 13 years on a case that had no evidence...only one person's testimony.

eh I just don't like it much really. Track just stresses me out for some reason, and I suck at it. hah pretty much sums it up, BUT I love the people. They're better then xc kids =/

A kid at a local school committed suicide on Friday.
It was a blindside to just about everyone. He was a very happy Christian. They are thinking that bullying may be responsible. =( My best friend has been an absolute wreck! She's know him since she was born. She was telling me about how she lost her ring when she was 8, in his hot tub. She said that she just wanted him to find it, put it on her finger, and then ask her to marry him. It was cute.
It's just an absolute tragedy when people commit suicide because you always have that little thought wandering in your head as to what could have been done differently to have made that person happy.

That is really sad =[ its so weird losing people you know, that are your age etc..how old was he?

ughhhhh bullying makes me so freaking mad in the last to days I've had to lecture 2 people that were being mean to someone (and I feel like a blowhard when I do, but I cant stand it) One was even my friend, I dunno why he was being so stupid Neutral

yea i dont like bullying, but i also dont like it when people dont stand up for themselves either. like, im not expecting a 6th grader to stand up to a senior, but i would expect a sophomore to stand up for himself if being bullied by a soph/jun/senior.
oh and i hate people that bully in groups. thats just pussy tactics.

Trust me on this, there was almost nothing you could have done differently if you didn't bully him, and even then it wasn't your fault seeing as the guy obviously suffered from deep psychological problems.
My friend committed suicide last year. If you ever decide you want it, grief counseling is a good option.

Okay, so this isn't really a rant but I don't know. I just feel like I hurt this guy's feelings.
Here's the story... sorry it's super long. Only read it if your bored.
He's on the cross country team and we've been really good friends since like 2nd grade. I knew that he liked me for a couple monthes now but he never asked me out(for which I was releived because all my friends think i should go out with him and i don't like making people feel bad) anywayy...yesterday the day before Valentine's day everyone at school is all cheerful wearing pink and red and bringing gifts for the bf's and gf's, well it's after school and he comes up to my locker and is like, "hey violet" and i'm just like "hey"...so it's all normal. then he like totally caught me off guard and was like "will you go out with me?" and just to let you know...in 8th grade and at our school, guys don't do that very often. they normally have their friend ask you for them. they never just come up to you and ask you straight forward with so much confidence. so i was just like "um...um...um...um..um..um" (i'm such a loser smack) and he was just like "um.....?" like a thousand things were flashing through my mind. i mean he's really nice and and cute and funny...but we're such good friends..i don't want to ruin it by going out because then it would just get all awkward all the time and stuff (ya know..middle school dating Rolling Eyes) so then i was just like "i think...it would be better if we were just friends." then he was just like ".....okay....well this is for you" and he handed me a pink bag and left. i opened when i got down in the locker room to change for running. it's a stuffed dog with hearts all over it and some chocolate kisses. it was really really really sweet of him to get something for me. but now i feel bad because i talked to like his best friend and his friend was like "well yeah..he just smiled and said he was pretty sad you said no."
I'm glad i said no because like i said before, dating just seems to screw everything up and i would rather just be really good friends with him.
but it just hurt me to hear that he was sad. i hate when i hurt people. i didn't mean to. Neutral

It was really clunky and delicate, and can't fit in anything other than a backpack or purse. If you drop it, it shatters, and if you sit on it... I'm going to find it in my closet (not an easy task), but it's not practical to carry around

okay, so anyway...like i was saying before in the wednesdailies i'm having some problems with my knee. I was planning on just not running for the rest of this week and just bike and pool then by monday or tues. just see how it goes and see if it still hurts to walk.
well...my track coach who i talked to yesterday went and told my cross country coach. so i was just leaving school and was going to go to the Y to bike and my xc coach corners me and tells me that coach k. told him. so here's generally how the convo went:
Coach: how come you didn't mention anything to me about your knee?
Me: i did...on tuesday when we were running...i told you it was hurting
Coach: well i just thought you meant like sore hurt. Coach K told me what you told him yesterday. i didn't think it was that serious. We decided that we think it's tedonitis. I don't want you doing any running at ALL.
Me: yeah, i know. i wasn't going to run. I'm just heading over to the Y to do some biking and pool...
Coach: NOOO NOOO NOOO. I don't want you doing ANY of that either.
Me: But it doesn't even hurt when I bike
Coach.: that doesn't always make it okay. I need you to be taking complete rest right now.
Me: ugh, this sucks. so just core then?
Coach: well i would even take it easy on that
^^in which i'm not going to. core won't hurt my knee!
    Me: ugh...hmm...it's not that bad...?
Coach: yeah, i don't want you doing anything. it may seem like you will get out of shape, but if you get seriously injured than you'll REALLY feel out of shape.
Yeah, I'm soo mad right now. I can't even flippin XT? is that true? I thought you could xt when you have tendonitis.... and he even called my mom from school and told her "he's really concerned and he thinks i might have done some damage already and he really thinks i should get in to seeing a doctor because he's really concerned"
uck..so now i have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. and i'm afraid because i don't know what to tell them.
because if they ask where it hurts...well the pain seems to move around depending on what i'm doing. i'll probably just make a fool of myself or something.
i don't think i can handle this. i mean if i could cross train...than it would be okay. but nothing? at all? i'll just have to do hours of core or something.
i'm sorry it was so long. this just really sucks.
i've never had to go to the doctor for something from running. and i've never had to take very many days off for injuries. any injuries i've had has just been like minor shinsplints(in season so i just had to keep going) or other little stuff.
i thought tendonitis wasn't that big of a deal either though...i'm not really even sure what it is.

Tendinitis is inflammation of tendons. It's not serious if you catch it early, but if you keep running on it it can get pretty bad. And biking is bad for it too if it is in your knee. Depending on what swimming strokes you were doing, that may or may not aggravate it. Just take a couple of days off and you'll be fine.

    So... there's this guy
let's just start by saying he's a major flirt
he used to flirt a lot with one of my best friends
her boyfriend did not like this
so he took her phone, flipped out at him, told him not to talk to her or me ever again
    I still talked to him
I went to the movies on Monday with him
    my friend's boyfriend was there
    he saw us
    he flipped out at me
then he saw me and this guy kiss during the movie
then he flipped out even more
    and called my best friend
who then flipped out at me for not telling her

this is like, honestly, the STUPIDEST, most overly dramatic situation I have been in. it's just soooo unneccessary. ughhh.

Okay wait. I'm just making sure I got this 'cause I was a little confused. haha
So you talked to this guy who is a flirt.
And your friend's boyfriend not only told him not to talk to her, but you as well.
And then he got mad when he saw you two at the movies.
    And now your friend's mad.
Okay I figured it out now lol.
I think it's actually interesting that your friend's bf protects you in a way as well. I never really hear about that. And of course, typical drama from your friend being mad. I'm sorry about this.

And I will also say that popped collars are gay. Thankfully I don't see it too much anymore around my school.
