    I'm getting sick.
But the thing is, when I get sick..everyone else gets better in a week. But I always seem to take like a month. I hate me..

OH and its been a month for my stupid orthotics and they still aren't here.. (I was suppose to get them a month ago, and the p.t place doesn't know where they are Mad ) So I'm still having this stupid pain..I still walk/run like an idiot anndd I haven't ran in forever because of that and I'm swamped with clubs and stuff. Basically I'm going to suck for track, like last year.

Today is my free day and I felt really dizzy and my throat hurts so cant even run today. ahhhhhh =[[

I've been sick for 2 weeks, I'm behind in school, I have a nose that's bleeding on and off for a while cause of the cold, and I NEVER get nosebleeds. The program that I'm in is a BITCH and kills your GPA, and all my friends at other universities don't understand. NOBODY. NOBODY gets an A or an A+ on the course. It just doesn't happen unless you are a GENIOUS (only 1 out of the 7000 people to have done it got an A+. My sister forgot to get the carseat out of her car so I can't take my nephew (whom I'm babysitting) to my gf's place tonight so I'm stuck here alone. And he cried for about 30 minutes when he got here cause he needed a diaper change and to be fed.

    Wow RD that sucks.

My rant: The big competition for academic decathlon is January 31 and February 7. My coach hasn't even covered 75% of any of the 6 academic subjects she is expected to teach us, and the test is on minor minor details. On top of that, I expected to be on the junior varsity team which competes at the end of May, so that's how I've been studying.
I feel bad for the ap kids the most. They have to study for midterms while at the same time reading a 400 page binder that is at the same level as the ap books.

oh my uncle died suddenly today at 96, and it was kinda weird because I was at my friends house and we were talking about making a bucket list and everything..then I started thinking about how dying is going to suck. Then I get home a half hour later, my g-ma called and said my uncle died. It just seems kinda ironic. He never really talked to us, the only thing he let us do was ride his extra wheelchair around his house and convinced me if I touched his laptop the house would blow up.

AND I might have strep, fever, cant swallow and just plain feel like crap. =[

    AND
I really really doubt I got that job (the other girl's mom is friends with the owner)

Wow, sorry to hear that. What relation was he to you? That's pretty old for a grandpa, he did pretty well. My great grandpa is still alive haha he's only 91. He's such a good dude though, but I haven't seen him for almost a decade, I really hope I get to see him before he dies. He's in England.

I have a stupid research paper due. It's about "literary critisism." I was ready to kill my teacher when she first told us about it. And of course if we don't do it, we don't pass the class. Bahhh.
And pinthin, I'm sorry about your uncle. I will admit that I cracked up when I read the laptop thing. But 96. Wow. At least he lived a long life.

Rant: The Gangs in my city.

Ok, so Halifax is a pretty nice city, and I feel safe 99% of the time. But sadly we have the highest rate of violent crime per capita in Canada (and maybe North America). It is all caused by two feuding families, the Marriots and the Melvins. They both want to control the drug trade in our fine city. It all started back in 2006, when there was a rash of drive-bys and firebombings etc. Then the police finally caught the main guy, Jimmy Melvin Jr. after he was on the run for six weeks. They even had him in custody a couple counties over but he managed to convince them that he was someone else, so they let him go. After they finally caught him, he went in jail for a few years, but got out in november. Since then, there was another round of tit-for-tat shootings, including the Melvins shooting up the local pizza joint owned by the Marriots, and in the most disgusting incident, one of the Melvin Associates was shot in the waiting room of The Children's Hospital!. A few weeks later Jimmy Melvin Jr. was shot a few times at his house, and then things calmed down for a bit. Then a couple days ago the police conducted a huge raid and arrested 15 or so of the men. They seized Cocaine, E, Marajuana, a shitload of cash and some AK-47s and other weapons.

Luckily they're charged with a whole bunch of stuff, ranging from attempted murder to racketeering and aiding and abbeting a crime.

What we really need is the Hell's Angels back. Nobody used to fuck around when they were here, now they're gone every petty criminal and thier grandmother wants to get into the drug buisness. Rolling Eyes

I went to winter formal last night with my ex boyfriend...
It was just... I don't even know. I went home crying (in a not good way). He totally acted like my boyfriend again and ughhhh. He did all this boyfriend-ish stuff and then at the end of the night it felt like I was being broken up with all over again because we just like said goodbye, hugged, and left. I'm totally not over him, and I really thought I was and I hate that I still like him so much because I know I need to just get over it and UGHHHH. This is such a shallow, stupid rant, but I just wished he still liked me. Sad

After everything that has happened... we are getting two new girls on monday. But of course no one is going to be there because of the funeral. It's kind of like they're replacing them or something Sad I don't want anyone new. I like our small little family. I just feel like someone else is going to die and it's just going to keep happening. Like there's going to be a car accident or something. I also really don't like the fact that everytime I talk about this, in the future, I'm going to start crying. oi.

Post by Pinthin Mon Jan 26, 2009 4:15 pm

I hate how unhealthy my family is. Actually more of my dad..all he ever does is watch t.v and movies (omg he watches movies 24/7) go to work, smoke and eats ice cream. He rubs off on my little siblings too (luckily we're all stick thin) like instead of playing with them or something he just turns on the t.v or sticks in a movie. He's getting kinda fat too and he's made some bad choices in his life.. i'm just so sick of all of it.

I just got in an argument because it was lunch time. I was going to make them lunch but he insists on doing it, but he just feeds them corndogs, gummy snacks and capri suns or something. I told him how unhealthy and gross that is and he just plays dumb like what its fine? your not their mother so lay off..

I know I'm not but he just teaches them crappy lessons, I shouldn't have to "nag" about what to feed them. He's the adult and should be telling me. It just bothers me to no end how unhealthy he is, I know my mom has talked about getting a divorce. I dunno I'm kinda borderline about it, I'd hate to see my little siblings go through that but I cant seem to ever get along with him and he never does anything.

uhhhhhhgg I dunno. I just wish I had a different dad a lot of times.
