Re: The Rant Thread
Why would your friend's bf care about who you go out with?? That doesn't seem like it has anything to do with him.

Re: The Rant Thread
Yeah, you've got it njrunner
and at first I was actually flattered that he was protective of me, but then... not so much anymore
I'm not totally sure why he cares so much, I mean we are friends, but it's probably more along the lines of him thinking "if she dates him and he is in her life regularly then he will probably also be in my girlfriend's life more than I want"

Re: The Rant Thread
Ugh. I've been really sick since Tuesday. Like, barely getting out of bed sick. I had a midterm yesterday (which I got moved till after reading week) but I have another one tomorrow. I e-mailed the director of the course, and he said without a note given to him BEFORE the exam, there was no way to get excused from it. He said that I had 3 days to make an appointment to get the note, but he forgot that I was too sick to leave my house. And furthermore, although I was feeling better today, there was a bad storm that blew through so I couldn't go this afternoon, and the exam is too early tomorrow morning to get a note beforehand, and I've been to sick to study, so I have to go in there basically unprepared and write it in the morning (when my symptoms are worst) and try to pull something out of my ass.

Re: The Rant Thread
i hate it when someone thinks that you like them when you really don't.
does this happen to anyone else? i feel like it always happens to me and its so awkward and obnoxious.
i think someone should start an official boy/girl problem thread.

Re: The Rant Thread
^ yea that kind of thing really bugs me too.
like, we dont get alot of bands that come here, and when they do, everyone hops aboard the bandwagon and goes, omg i love ___. its really annoying.
i also hate it when people say they like a certain band just because they heard one of their songs on guitar hero, and when asked to name another song, they cant.

Re: The Rant Thread
Well that was my first attempt at 'clubbing' last night. It was just weird more than anything, just heaps and heaps of weird 30 year olds smelling of weird perfume. All the guys I went with had all gone to the city heaps of time before, so they didn't seem to mind. Wouldn't say it was the greatest night of my life haha, didn't meet anyone new there (except the dudes who we met before we went). Was good having a laugh with some mates, and shooting some pool. And I woke up at 2:00pm today. Oh well. Won't be doing that again for a while haha.

Re: The Rant Thread
I remember those days where EVERY SINGLE GUY in my grade spiked their hair. This was between 4th-6th grade. I remember it was so cool to do back then, but looking back now, elementary school boys spiking their hair is so dorky and funny.
