The Spike Noob one reminded me of the time they made us all walk in our spikes to the top of the bleachers for lane assignments.

The Clueless Teammate submitted by jordon holtzman
Usually a freshman, but depending on lack of intelligence, could be any
age. The teammate that is always coming up to you, asking what the
order of events is, or if his event was called, usually more than once
every meet. It gets really bad when you are getting in the zone for
your own race.
^ we deffinetly have that person, in indoor track she asked me how long the track was and i said a 200 and she said how long is the one outdoors and i said 400 and she said oh, i always though indoor tracks were bigger...
and then the one time she said a mile was 16 laps. and at regionals she cut in at the wrong line, she would have been DQed if she had placed.

The "used to-be"
Was a varsity freshman with decently good times. Has the talent to go to, and place at the state meet. Now an upperclassmen this track star has become the opposite due to a mix of alcohol, partying, and slacking.

The slacker
going for a 10 minute cooldown, they want it to be 8.
going on an 8 mile run they want to walk for part of it.
and yet, they are the second fastest in their event,
because of unfair natural talent.

The Insider
This person is very slow, yet insists on running as close to the line on turns as possible to cut off time, even when getting passed or lapped.

The embarrassment
This person was only put on your relay team out of pity, or spite. This is the person that looses your lead in a relay every single time; you are given the baton with zero chance of catching up. Then you get the pity clap when you come rolling in well after the other teams already have their warm-ups on.

We have a sunglass guy!!!
But it's okay because he's insanely fast and usually wins the 3200 by about two or three minutes haha.
I love these, but I'll admit that I'm definitly a PR-knower...

If you're running the mile, either tell them 4:01 or 12:01. Each one should get some laughs.

The name brand runner
This person cannot wear Nike, Adidas, or any of the usual. Their wardrobe consists of screen tee's from Hollister or American eagle with Love Pink shorts to match. Never has worn the same outfit twice to practice and insists on buying new clothes because she doesn't have enough shorts with the words on the butt to match her t's.
