    Post by yoby92 Tue Dec 30, 2008 9:24 pm

ok, so i've ran XC for 3 years and going to try track this year. i've played soccer for 12 years so im not slow, but im not a speed junky. i've been just building base over the winter (about 3-5 miles a day with a 6-7 long run a week).

but aside from training, what should i expect from track?

(failing english btw (these parenthesis are delicious! NOMNOMNOM)

a lot of track work (duh). it's repetitive, but that's how you get faster. i think it's better than xc.

our team doesnt have tryouts. my coach says its to encourage more ppl to come, but my team still manages to be ridiculously small anyways.

Did you get held back, or are you lying about your age.
At my school we have tryouts for xc and track and pretty much every other sport
