    I eat too much and regret it half way into my run
    During race day I eat light and not in the 3 hours before the race

    most of the time I try to eat healthy and I can't, I usually just end up eating pizza, which sucks.

    I dont like eating before I run, so I usually just pig out when I get done.

    But my coach makes me eat bananas,pb'j and granola bars =/ then I have to drink at least half of my gatorade.

    yeah i have made the mistake of eating a 12 in sub from subway like 30 min before my run. could hardly breath and felt really weighed down.

    Before a race I didn't eat much.

    My muscles started violently shaking near the finish line.

    It could have also been that I pushed too hard.

    I also used to get dizzy. Now I make sure that I eat well, and I seem to be doing fine.

    once i drink milk before a run and ended up running my fasted two mile ever

    and about the subway thing...at sectionals the only thing remotely healthy to eat is the subway behind the stadium so my whole team ate subway before our races....but it wasnt my best race

    road races usually start at 8am so i don't eat anything or maybe an energy bar or something. XC races: I chug gatorade. After: i eat whatever i want because i am done Very Happy

    in the winter i would eat just bout any amount of food i felt like before a run.
    all that snow made me hungry

    before my indoor meets which were usually saturdays (my race would start at like 11) i would eat a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and a glass of oj at like 645. and for xc and spring track, when my races were at 330ish, i would eat a bagel and fruit for lunch, then a granola bar on the way to the meet. i dont do well with alot of food in my stomach..

    but my favorite time to run is in the early evening so i havent eaten alot in a long time before the run...ill have a granola bar or something like an hour before and then ill come home and have dinner. but the worst pre-run food is anything greasy...ughh i feel like im gonna puke just thinking of it.
