I go around the bend and there are like 30+ hardcore looking bikers yelling "RUNNER UP" all in a row.
I couldn't stop myself from loling.

I get there and I've been moving pretty well all day (for me at least, probably ~7:10-7:15 pace at that point) so I decide I'll pretty much kill the downhill, and probably end up running like 6:30 pace on the downhill. Well, I'm coming around this turn pretty fast, and there is a thick tree line on the margin of the road, and I see a biker coming up the hill, and I hear him yell "RUNNER UP!". I jump onto the grass shoulder of the road and let him by, thinking, that was weird. like 2 seconds later, I see another biker coming up, and start hearing a ton more people yelling "RUNNNER UP".
