The flashing drums and the thing right after were the only good parts, I'm just waiting for them to bring the athletes in, like PTZ said most of it is strange.

I thought the drums were absolutely mezmorizing! I loved it.
It's going to take forever til we see the U.S. come in though...I'm going to bed. I'll watch it in the morning when I can fastforward it. (Since I'm recording it)

I still think the drums where the best but the boxes were cool and the thing were they ran around in perfect circles with no markings on the floor was cool as well.
I watch the first 20 or so teams come out and then I watched the last hour of a recorded Myth Busters Shark Week #2 and I thought it was funny. And right when it was over I turned the Olympics on and the US team was coming out. Perfect timing.

He didn't go to the opening ceremony so that he could get more rest, and stay away from the smog.

I watched it live this morning at 7:30 on the Canadian channel. Finally Canadians have done something for me.

I stopped watching it though, its kinda boring after a while.

I thought the painters, LED screen, drummers, printing display, and some of the outfits the poorer countries wore was amazing.
I also liked that little kid who paraded with Yao.

everything was so amazing..the dove, the scroll of paper, the drums, their military, the childrens chorus, yao and that little boy. everything was so precise it was amazing.

yeah i want chicago too my brother told me that if it was in america it would only be a couple hundred dollars to go watch--if thats true our family might go which would be amazingggggggg.

They should put it in Rio de Jenero. Even though it would be awesome if America had it, South America never has hosted before.

They don't have a great bid though. London has it in 2012 so that will hurt Madrid's chances, and Beijing has it this year so that would hurt Tokyo's chances, but Chicago's bid isn't too great and Rio de Jenero's is even worse.

they way everyone was in perfect rhythm was pretty sweet. almost made me forget they are an evil communist country.
