My uncle told me whenever someone near the Chinese gets them mad they send a bunch of troops to the border and the other country gives in lol. I think it was Pakistan.

Yeah, I want Chicago to get it cause I would go, but I'm betting that doesn't happen because of Atlanta in '96. Toyko has had the highest rating so far with Madrid being second, but I am really hoping Chicago gets it. Even if they don't win it they have a really good chance in 2020 because it would have to 24 years since we had last hosted the summer games. Japan hasn't held the olympics since 1964 so they have the best chance and South America has never held an olympics.

yeah i want chicago too my brother told me that if it was in america it would only be a couple hundred dollars to go watch--if thats true our family might go which would be amazingggggggg.
My sister & I joke around with it possibly being in Chicago... We made a plan that if a MIRACLE happens & I get INSANELY fast enough to make it (LOL) that I could easily just go & stay with my brother who lives in Chicago...I called him up to complain though because he ruined our plan because he's moving to Philladelphia... errg! lol

that is so sad, i saw that too. they said that the chinese government said it wasnt safe for her to represent their country because she wasnt pretty enough. how would you feel if you were 7 and you were already told you were ugly. and i didnt watch the opening ceremony but i watched a clip of it and how no one noticed it sooner idk cuz you can definitely tell she is lip singing.
