Made the conference team by taking 10th!
Top 10 were 1st Team All-Conference then 11th-15th were Honorable Mention.

I was just talking to my coach about the "Dream Team" for our local paper, & I realize I have a shot! They take the top girls and boys in the area, put their picture in the paper with some season stats and then they make up the "Area Dream Team". Doesn't sound like much, but it's pretty cool. Last year I wasn't fast enough because since our team was so good, they didn't want to put only our team in there so they limited it to only 3 per fast teams. This year the rule changed and they are saying if you are and individual state qualifier you make the team. I can do that! I hope...

i was in the bathroom and i think i had a bad case of diarrhea (not that theres ever a good case but this was horrid) I was so loud to kids outside the stall were like "I think some sharted in there, expect to see shart in there when u go in) This makes me laugh reaally hard then i crap loud again and laugh even harder. I decide im gonna walk out with dignity and not make eye contacvt but as soon as i open the stall I start laughing then im like "soory u guys". so im washing my hands and laughing when one kid says to his friend "Yo dude if i past out in here come get me" and his friend is like sure man but make sure u pull up ur pants first cuz that would just be awkward" all the while im still laughing.

My diarrhea was so bad i had to take a crap mid race and ran up to the bathroom after my race.Still pred though.

I sharted about 7 times today.

30:45 on 5.2 course this Friday at Penn State. It converts to about a 29:24 8k. The course was real fun at the beginning. With about 260 runners it funnels into between two trees about 12 feet apart. Kids pushing and shoving and I hurdled 3 kids and it was crazy. I had a real good shoving match for the first mile with this kid from Georgetown. He ended up finishing 3rd and I'm glad I probably prevented him from finishing 1st.

Conferences in two weeks and then the Mid-Atlantic Regionals and then it's finally track time.

Oh my gosh! Regionals are Saturday & I'm SOOO freakin nervous!
Top 15 move onto State along with the top 3 teams.
My team will for sure be going, (knock on wood) But I want to make it individually SOOO badly!
I've worked hard and really think I deserve this. If I don't make it on my own then it could possibly break me since I didn't make it in Track and not making it in Track has been my motivation thru the summer and season.
Ok well I'm just FREAKING out now...I'll tell everyone how it goes after this weekend.

Our class meet was yesterday. very disappointing, our coach thought we might be able to win, but we tied for second... and then the tiebreaker put us in third. NOt happy. And I still haven't pred yet this year. Oh well, the state meet next weekend is on a really flat coarse, so maybe I"ll pr there... and hopefully we'll beat the two teams that beat us yesterday. because we definately should be able to do that. but its still really disappointing.
