    The Ankle
If you don't know I hurt my ankle about 3 weeks ago. Ran though it for about a week but it kept getting worse. Took 1 full week off. Walk for two days felt fine started to jog every other day.
Sparknotes: Hurt ankle. Only ran jogged 4 times in the last 2 weeks.

    The Race
I ran like a bitch running the slowest time I ran in over a year. Something in the 18's. I beat everyone more than once this season besides the guys that got 1st and the guy that got 3rd.
Sparknotes: I sucked and got beat by people I crushed during the season.

    Whats Next
I'm going to start training for real again and try my best to make it to states. I already found the guy I'm going to try to pace with the entire race.
Sparknotes: I hope to kick ass.

here we have counties (where you race every school in your county) and confrence/league(where you race everyone in your confrence)

i did good at counties, pr'd and made varsity for the first time this year.

at the league meet i ran varsity and pr'd again to secure a varsity spot for districts...alot more pressure now than im used to.

I don't think we have counties? I guess it's cause I go to a private school...
But our private school championship is like November 1.

When does everybody have districts and state? Everything was pushed back a week from last year here in good 'ol Kentucky...

My team got 3rd in the county during the season (2nd in division) but sucked today because
    Runner#
1- (Me) Ankle and didn't run last two weeks
2- Sucked balls today. He got 7th at counties last year and 24th this year.
3- Was in top 20 with 800 to go. Finished in the 40's.
4- He peaked 3-4 weeks to soon. He ran a few 17's in a row in the middle of the season and hasn't done good that last three races.
    5- Passed out.
    6- Did fine.
    7- Did fine.

My team is good (to the normal non-Sourworms/fk nationally good teams) and probably should have won counties but for some reason we all desided to suck on the same day.

    We go Conference>Regioanls>State.

In our bigger conference meet I finished 16th out of 106 runners so I made Honorable Mention.
In our Smaller Conference meet I finished 10th out of 60 runners.

First year that I have EVER made a conference team. (And I made two!) Very Happy
Regionals are on October 25th. SUPPOSE to easily make it out...top 15 go to state and then the top 3 teams. Shouldn't be too hard for our team to make it because we're fast. I want top 15 @ Regionals though SOO bad!

everyone goes to festivals here, and all varsity people go to sectionals, and the top ten individuals from the varsity race and the top 3 teams from the varsity race go to groups, and then I think it is the same criteria to make it to states

In Illinois we run Regionals>Sectionals>State, so I'm guessing it's like Counties>Regionals>State for you guys?

I won't make top 7 for my team, but my guess is that the team will get at least top 2 at regionals (saturday after this coming one/conference), and higher than 5th at sectionals and not run at state.

Nope. The state is divided into the west region and east region and Everyone goes to regionals and state no matter what. There were only about 80 girls in my race at regionals.

Ours works the same way (conference<regionals<state).

I got 6th in my conference but my time wasnt too hot; i got like 20:09. Unfortunately, it was 88 degrees today (hotttt!) and i'm definitely not a hot weather runner.
