Have fun, Holmdel sucks. I'd rather run Slippery Rock than Holmdel, although I'll be there in a few weeks for conferences.

Not everyone improves that much, you don't really know if you're going to run a 15 minute 5k or just a 17 minute one. Plus, you can't brag about times you've never run.P2 wrote:lawlerskates. i hope you know my hs times are gonna make you look like a pansy.SourWorms wrote:FinishingKick wrote:Top ten in Cali > State champions in the lowest class in IllinoisBagoXC25 wrote:And yet your team still blows this year...interesting.

Um California has the right to brag. We all know why, so we understand it and don't blame Californians for what they can't control. There are good runners from everywhere, but on the most depth is there. It doesn't make me angry.

Is it because of the weather or the amount of people?CT Track wrote:Um California has the right to brag. We all know why, so we understand it and don't blame Californians for what they can't control. There are good runners from everywhere, but on the most depth is there. It doesn't make me angry.

Both more or less. Also the government does a lot better with controlling high school athletics. Unlike other states like Texas and Florida who focus on football California is very diverse in have in having many athletic kids.

I heard the course was horrible.
A kid on my team won by 32 seconds, and he only had a 16:30, which shows how hard the course is. The first two miles are uphill on sand, and the last mile is down hill on pavement. And that's where states is being held.
You should have saw my districts last year. It was flooded by a river and they think that laying down hay is going to help.
