First XC Meet! I did Awesome! (even though it was only a 2-mile hill course!) Cut off 1:30 off of my time from that course last year and improved 13 places. Got my first medal for the season too! woohoo I took 15th. Next Saturday is our next race and it's on a flat 5K course so that should be sweet.

Cross training day for me (sick)
Just got back from an amazing camp at Stanford. I ran a lap around the track and took a picture of the NCAA champion board, with Ryan Hall's name at the bottom. Amazing school. I want to go there.

most beautiful run on the canal for me today.

easy 6 recovery miles next to a canal from 1831 with small little town shops, beautiful nature, and friendly people.

I went ninja today and jumped over a dog that was coming after me. Strangely it was about 5 yards from where the squirrel incident took place. Suspect

ok, so I am fat and lazy. I was supposed to do my long run today, 10 miles... but instead I took a 3 hour nap. I was going to just take a 1 1/2 hr. nap and have my mom wake me up, but I didn't really wake up completely before I decided not to run and fell back asleep. soo, that was bad. But I was exhausted b/c I stayed up until 2 am watching the 10k last night and had to work until 4:00 today. but I feel horrible now for skipping it.
