28:26, the race might have been a bit long. Anyway, Good race. I finished 54th out of 70ish, including beating a couple varsity runners from one of our rival schools, and a number of other varisty athletes. I also was the 3rd of 4 freshmen from my school, only about 5 seconds behind the 2nd freshman. Tactically I ran strongly, Running about 9:30 for the first lap, 10:00 for the second, and 9:00 for the third.
I also ran almost 60 miles in the previous 6 days, including 2 tempo runs and a ball-busting VO2 max workout. Once we finally taper a bit, things will be amazing.

oh, girls team raped the race, only 19 points, guys team finished second I believe, but we left on our cool down before they got the official results.

There is a mentoring program at my school, and they just come to classes and see who wants to do it. Then you get interviewed and they match you up with a little "brother or sister". I hope mine likes to run
lol There isn't alot of girls in the program so I might not get mine till another month or so but at least i'm in.
