How fast is your coach?

mine-4:39 miler

my track coach ran a 54 400 in college (she's a girl) and she's like my second mother, we even have movie nights together..but mostly because she's trying to hook me up with her son

my xc coach, not sure.. and I already told the story on the fave elite runner thread.

im not sure, but i know my dad's faster than him.

Not sure, I will look at the oooooooooooldddd state meet times, I know the years he ran there, but not the times.

He went to Tennessee on full scholarship and roomed with Fam. My other coach was coached by Jack Daniels and had a low 4:10s mile, and I have another coach who told us about these really fast training runs his coach made them do but I don't know ho fast he was.

That's why I coach myself.

my coach raced me, && she's pretty fast.

my trainer is a beast he has ran with meb and ryan hall and stuff up in mammoth lakes hes like really good but, i don't go to him anymore...
and my track coach is a state champion pole vaulter and a beast at hurdles he still beats all our guys who one of them went to state for hurdles...he's insane he went to malone. My xc coach idk about times but, he always wins when they have coach races after xc meets...but my Jr. High coach is a janitor haha.

My track coach ran a 2:01 800. right now I would say he could run a 2:01 400. ha

female track coach--2:11 800, sub 60 400, 12' pv

my coach that i will hav next yr in sixth grade ran a 2:31 at the boston marathon, and ran a 15:23 5k at a local race but i dont no any of his other times

My coach was slated to run in the Olympics (don't remember which year--it was the one that we didn't go to because of tension with the USSR), but I don't have his times. I imagine he could still beat all of us, but he doesn't do a lot of running anymore.

my MS xc coach is really fast.....he runs 5ks in the high 15s, my ms track coach has never ran in his life, he was the thrower coach last year. My HS xc coach probably used to run and used to be really fast because his 12 year old son is pretty fast. He still runs with us though. The HS girl's coach has two fake knees and can barely walk. But just because of that, I think he probably used to be really fast.

That would be moscow in 1980.

dont know how he did in highschool but he can run. lol

Maybe...I didn't until I met him but he's got some great contacts with some pretty good athletes.

Yeah, he kind of dropped off the face of the Earth after his shot at the Olympics (or so I understand).

i have the same coach for xc & track. in college he ran a 4:08 mile. hes absolutely amazing; he cares more for the long-term and building than the results he's getting right now.
