    Post em!

Easy run, between 4 and 7 miles depending on how I feel.

I got my results back today. Everything is normal, although my Iron levels are a bit low, but red blood cell production is normal so it's nothing to worry about unless I start bleeding profusely. The doctor suggested that I probably had Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter depression). So in other words the doctor's orders are to spend more time outside in the daylight. Therefore, I'm going to try running at about noon each day for the next little while and see if that helps.

Well, the Dr. did suggest if we had the spare money or if it was covered by insurance to get one, but I don't think it is, and plus, sunlight is free Smile

Can't you go running in the snow?

no...I cant get downtown or even up our driveway..my parents almost crashed our car (suv, biggest thing we have) down our minnie cliff next to our driveway. I just spent 30min helping digging it out. It was literally like 5inches from doom. haha its suuper icy.
    Long story short: no.

Sorry for the long response =/

^^ Glad to hear your running again! I did 4 miles moderate/hard. Second kinda hard day in a row...I don't think it was that good of an idea. I'm done with school though! YAY! No more math! My next semester I have such easy classes! Lol, getting ready to go watch a wrestling match a school...should be fun.

i did four 400s... and then i all the sudden completely died. i don't know why, i was feeling really good and relaxed the first two... and then the next two were a lot slower... and then i almost passed out. weird. although maybe it's good i didn't do all eight; my private coach (who knows A LOT more than my school coach) says that work out is bull.

Were you saying that a 8X400 workout is bull? Because I have one of the most experienced Coaches in my state, who is the brother of RI marathon legend Bobby Doyle (training schedule is based off Bobby's workouts), and who has coached quite a few of the best runners to ever run in the state, who uses workouts like 8X400 and 12X400, so personally, I wouldn't say anything bad about that type of workout

It depends on the pace and the recovery time. 8x400 @ mile race pace with short recoveries is not a good workout. 8x400 @ 5k race pace with 1:1 recoveries is a good workout. You can't just generalize.
