    Fucked up run.

    The varsity girls announced that they plan on making states today.
    They started by doing 2 miles, walking some, then a 2 mile jog. Good luck with that.

    Lol! They would get pwned at states too, we have 6 teams that are arguably top 25 in the nation.

    5 miles
    1 mile cooldown
    Core & pushups

    7 miles total

    I tried doing what my friends suggested, which was instead of doing 10+ miles everyday, try doing what the coach says at a faster pace.

    I did pretty well. My friends were kind of hypocritical though because they decided to go run to town and do 9 miles but w/e.

    Ended up doing drills and 3.3 miles with my dad later on this evening. It was a slow pace, like a shakeout run.

    ugh today wasnt good.. warmed up 1 mile. did 2 mile repeats and that was all. our coach unbelievably furious because some people werent trying and it was obvious. my times were a tad slower than normal but not too much.

    We did 8 hill repeats, a four-minute sprint (I don't know why, but okay), and then we did some plyos and jumps.

    It felt okay...getting ready for our first race this weekend!

    90 degree weather sucked today for practice!
    We ran 3.5 miles then we were suppose to go swimming...I got kicked out of practice & was told to go home, so no swimming for me... It's ok though because before practice I had just went swimming with 9 people on our xc team that decided NOT to show up...today...SUCKED. Oh well. School tomorrow ...aka: It's not going to get better!

    First day of school.

    4 mile tempo.
    Worse run everrr.. I was so stinkin slooow, like waay slow =[ . I was good until I got side stitches that wouldn't go away and I tried running through it but...ugh and then my right calf started getting reallly tight and my ankle started hurting (like always) and THEN the same spot my shoes keep rubbing off my skin, started hurting. So know I have a huge blood stain on my sock and the side of my foot looks disgusting. It wasn't even a tempo..it was more of me just doing whatever it took too get the run done (but I had to walk like a zilliong times =[[ I feel ashamed)

    2 mile warmup, 2 mile in 11:31 3 minute rest 2 mile in 11:58, 2 mile cooldown. 90 degrees and humid. Ouch.

    Ah don't worry about it. The change in schedule can throw anyone off. I bet you'll be loads better after the first week or two.
