    11.8 miles

Meant to only run 10.5 miles but I got lost and took wrong turns on the roads and stuff.

I know it's exactly 11.8 because I retraced my steps on googlemaps

since I slept through my long run yesterday I am going to split it up today so that I can still get all my mileage but be able to do a quality run tomorrow instead of just a recovery... so:

    AM- 5 mi.
    PM- 5 mi.

    800 up
    3x400 @ ~86
    800 down

It was supposed to be a rest day, but I was itching to see what goal race pace felt like. Considering that I haven't run much under 7:30 pace all summer it felt surprisingly easy. It'll be good for a confidence boost if nothing else.

ugh I have to spend the night at my grandmas house until wednesday. She wont let me run because she's afraid I'll get kidnapped or something (her neighborhood is nice but the city has some ghetto areas.)

So I wont be able to run until wednesday. Mad

really hilly 7.2 mile route at 7:08 per mile. was a fairly easy run. 82 degree weather kept me from dipping under 7, but I was satisfied with the solid effort

ahhh completely exhausting day. had to work 11-7 and it was so busy so i didnt get 1 second to sit down. and the majority of those hours were spent powerwalking with trays of food...the distance from the kitchen to the pool is a good 30 seconds powerwalking so multiply that by about 200 and i walked a big deal. so right after i got off work i did 4 miles kinda fastish...well at least i went out fast because i needed to relax but by the last mile i was kinda slow/dead. and then i went to my friends house and i just got home. whew.
