Re: Flippant Fridailies
the weather channel lied to me, and it's 95 degrees, not 75. I thought I'd be able to wait until 12 to run, but now it's too hot... so core, lifting, swimming, and time trial tomorrow.

Probably 7-8ish miles.
I just found out that the trails near my house aren't some random abandoned trails where creeps hang out. It's actually a park....

Re: Flippant Fridailies
Had to curtail my run, only 4.5, because I didn't get out early (I'm not a morning person, especially in summer.) By the time I got out (noon) it was over 100f with the heat index. It was a real challenge the last 1.5 miles to keep my Heart Rate out of tempo land.

Maybe some little stuff today, as per the guy in charge of XC camp. I'm tired, so that's fine with me.

Re: Flippant Fridailies
So, I ended up doing about a mile on the trails behind my house (in the shade!!), teaching myself how to hurdle logs because our XC course has random logs and hay bales which our athletic director said he'd "see what he can do" about it, meaning he won't be doing anything about them. So, our coach suggested learning to hurdle. I decided to listen.
