McCain. I'm not a huge fan of either candidate, but Obama's bullpen (supporters) freak me out. I hate McCain's border policy, but his solution for Iraq is more practical, I think.

Obama. I'm not really up on the two candidates' positions, but I'm a sucker for a pretty speech. That and the last Republican President was pretty shitty.

He has good speaking skills though.
Also when it comes election time, we'll see what Obama does with his power.

Don't stir me the wrong way or we'll have 11 pages of useless back-and-forth argument.
McCain's intiative against green house gases and Global Warming isn't that good.

He has more in store for the poverty-stricken then McCain. All McCain will do is make taxes lower for the rich and higher for the poor.

They should be as close to equal as possible. I'm all for promoting the poor but the people who earned more money should get more money, otherwise you're sinking lower and lower towards communism. The Bee's Knees wrote:FK wrote:Aren't they already unbalanced? The Bee's Knees wrote:FK wrote:I went on the Barack Obama website and all he had under the category of Ethics was lobbying and getting people involved in their government. The Bee's Knees wrote:FK wrote:Good speaking skills don't mean anything. Taxes for the rich should be the same as for the poor, not the poor having to pay less than the rich which would be communist-like.

That's what I just said. No one would be stupid enough to tax the rich less than the poor. To my understanding McCain would tax everyone the same and Obama would tax the poor less. The Bee's Knees wrote:Taxes for the rich should be the same as for the poor, not the poor having to pay less than the rich which would be communist-like.

Re: Obama vs. McCain
I really don't care about who becomes president anymore. Presidents of the past such as Clinton,Kennedy, Roosevelt, and Lincoln.. those were real presidents. Many of these politicians really don't stick out to me. If it were up to me, I'd would vote for Bush again because there is nothing that will drastically change in this country. With either Obama or McCain, we are still gonna be in Iraq, Our economy will not improve, and issues on border control will probably be forgotten. Thats just my take on politics.

Any intelligent person (like you) wouldn't vote for Bush. His intiatives on global warming as well as the economy suck.

Re: Obama vs. McCain
I just have to add something.
What makes you think Obama's promises are empty? I know I said I wasn't paying much attention to the race, but I'm pretty sure you have pretty much no basis for saying that Obama won't fulfill his promises. The fact that someone can make good speeches isn't the best reason to vote for him, but it sure as hell isn't a reason to vote against him.
BTW, that quote train on the first page was getting pretty awesome. Keep up the good work.
