I want to do 6 miles today--but it's been raining since about 4:30 this morning. Hoping I can get enough of a break in the thunder to get out there.

Rest day, except for some sort of sport game with my church group tonight, and I'll probably do some weights + core later.

Re: Maniac Mondalies
7 miles (I think). It was quite easy. I don't think I've ever experienced a 7-mile run that was so easy. Either I was going balls-to-the-walls slow, or I'm improving. I got turned around a little in Central Park, but it was at least 6. I'll tack another mile on Friday to be sure.

I ran in central park once. Some little guy asked me if I wanted to buy some toothpaste. I had a feeling it wasn't really toothpaste though.
Anyway, 45ish minutes at 150 bpm, even though I think I already posted that.
Day 2 of HR training. Pretty soon I'll be moving fast enough to be able to run outside without be publicly humiliated. Everyone's saying it takes about a week for the heart to start adapting. Should be fun.

I did a 7.5 mile hill called the climb that gains about 1000 feet or more on the way up.

Haha....
I went running in Boston once with a friend. There was this old homeless guy on a bench and we thought he looked cold so we gave him a couple bucks. Then he threw an empty beer bottle at us and started roaring about Pythagorus. ("I am Pythagorus and I'm 12,000 years old!"). It was odd.

I went to Central Park on a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Natural Art and History and I seen little kids being walked on leashes like 20 at a time. Plus nannies with little kids that weren't theres. i was amazed . Can you tell I am from a small town.

Another place that has kids on leashes is Disney World. I guess parents think it will help them keep track of their kids better, but it just looks so strange...
