That'd be 11:30 for a 3200m and 11:34 for a 2 mile. But he said it was downhill.AudienceOfOne wrote:what would that be for a 2 mile?

Re: my race.
He wasn't even going 5:20 pace in the first place, so why would you only add 40 seconds? The conversion would be to add at least 48 seconds, and that would be on a good day.

Re: my race.
That's just the general conversion of a 3000 to 3200, if it bothers you that much ok 48 seconds. Will that get you off everyone's nuts?

Use that and don't argue about any more conversions.

Re: my race.
Just like what I go by, that is a rough guesstimate. Of course being slower your last 200 might go by slower, but there are many different aspects that go into converting. I'm not arguing the right conversion time, but it clearly struck a nerve that I just so happened to use a conversion that many coaches and athletes use. It was no excuse to lose your mind over.
I don't use those bs online shits and converting is only for the what ifs. I'm about the can dos.
