I'm sorry but, are these people epic fails? Thats just a short list I found.

it's easier to live the way you want to, but it is not the right way. we cant do things on our own, and we wont have a sucessful life if we do. We need somethig bigger and greater, and God wants to be that something.
thoes people might have achieved great things, but the truth is that they could have achieved greater things through Christ. And how do you know they were truley happy? Just because thoes people are famous doesnt mean that they were happy living their lives. Fame only lasts a short time, but fame in Christ lasts forever.
When you dont give yourself to God, there is going to be an empty hole in your life, that only God can fill. And no satasfaction will ever come out of anything you try to fill that hole with, until it becomes God.

bill gates could go on that list too..just saying. Hitler was a christian (maybe catholic) , only through god could he have killed so many jews

I dont think you can tell someone how they feel. I'm very happy and I dont feel that "hole" , My grandparents are very happy and they never went to church, I guess I should tell them that they have an empty part in their heart that better get fixed =/ . I think your religion just tries to convince people that they need god or.... else

John Lennon did drugs, I wouldn't use him as a great role model for athiests.
One of the reasons Abraham Lincoln was said to be an athiest is because he did not like that God forgave someone who broke his laws, doesn't seem like a very tolerable person or good reason.
The religion of Hitler is much debated. Not all athiests are good people, not all people who claim to be christians are good people. Most are not truly christians.

Unfortunately Albert Einstein did not believe in the kind of god that you believe in. do some research, he did not believe in heaven or jesus

you have to repent. one could argue that if you keep on sinning after you have "given your heart to Jesus" that you never got saved at all. you can't get hit by a 16 wheeler and not be changed. BUT if he repented and asked Jesus to save and forgive him, he could have been saved. if i see hitler at the throne of God when i get into heaven, i owe you a coke.

i honestly don't know enough about the crusades to have an opinion on them.
