Re: Tapering Thursdailies
uhhh, 6.6 w/ 10X30s pickups. I'm sooo tired because I went to a sleepover last night. Ahhhh I do not want to run at all. I want to go to sleep. But that's not happening because then I have to go to work.

our old coach make these people run up 1 1/2 mile hill, its huuuge and seriously steep, and at the top they would have to run a 3 semi-hilly mile course, needless to say they were all pretty good.
anyways xc practice
at 7pm so I have no idea what we are doing. yaay I'm so excited =]]

Re: Tapering Thursdailies
10 miles easy. At the nine mile point, I noticed a number of flashing police lights up ahead. As I got closer, I realized there was a memorial going on. At that spot 3 years ago today, Jonathan Reader (age 19) was found lying on the side of the road. He died a few hours later in hospital. The police have deemed it a Murder, but so far it is unsolved. I slowed to a walk as I passed out of respect for the mourners. I pass that spot every run I go on from my house and it's a sobering reminder that the world isn't really all that safe.

Re: Tapering Thursdailies
1 mi up
4 miles at 6:20 pace. I was on a 3-lane cinder track with a lot of cinders, kinda like sand, and a fat guy was walking in lane one so I ran in lane 2. Does anyone know how much time that added to the tempo? I'm thinking 2 seconds per lap...
1.5 down

1.5 down
Assuming 400m track, it added 7m per lap.
