its like this for all sports, you can train with your coach until august. Then we had one of the parents come and "coach" us. Our training starts next week, sadly only 4 people show up..sometimes its just me and someone else and the coach. Its very lonely.

We don't have any sort of summer practice. We tried that out last year, but only two of us bothered to come (our team is overly fond of sitting on their couches whenever they can). Sometimes, though, I'll grab a bunch of people and we'll "accidently" meet up with coach at the park and run together.

We have "Captain Practices" where the captains run the practices, because we can't have an organized free practice over the summer with our coaches.
So pretty much the coaches act like it was a coincidence that they showed up. Every day. At the exact same time as us.
