Xc summer training with team

starts today, well for me it does (vacation)
Tuesdays and Thursdays
any one else have practice with the team yet?

every morning except for sunday.

my team doesn't practice in the summer
we start practice a week before school starts

its not run through school, its a summer track program run by USATF

we're not allowed to have an actual sanctioned practice with a coach and everything in the summer its against the rules (dk whos rules lol) but, we all meet up together and run anyways. I'm starting next week I really can't wait.

as long as your coach isn't there, it's fine....

btw, it's the OHSAA's rules.

thats what i thought. our coach isn't there usually lol...the school beside us has mandatory practices with their coach their in the summer no one really cares though.

there has been atleast one elite school caught though.

we are actually allowed to have our coach there

yes, yes it does haha.
we have one girl from our team get to regionals and the team beside us is d1 so no one got out girls or boys there will be a pretty good freshman next year on that team though. she ran a 5:4? mile in eighth grade and low 2:20s in the 800 and a 19 something in the 5k last year. she'll be the only good person though.

the miles not great but, wow. she'll be a beast.

yeah i think after she gets some real training in and stuff she'll be pretty good. she went to my old trainer with me during winter but only ran like twice a week or something because, jr. high isn't that big of a deal and she still ran pretty good times so, im excited for her. im just kinda rambling lol...

We don't do any formal team things, occasionally I'll run with somebody/a few other people.

its ok, i'm bored out of my mind and find the rambling entertaining
