    I was doing fine with my summer running when my vacation forced me into several off days and I only got 25 and 32 miles done each week. I was supposed to be over 40 now, would it be okay if I started back up at 45?

    youre obviously capable of it. you worked up to it so just do it. youre not injury-prone so go ahead.

    do it. your body needs to get used to 45 mpw eventually. better sooner rather than later.

    This question isn't critical.

    In the grand scheme of things, the training difference between a week at 35 or 45 miles is almost nothing.

    umm...that is almost 25%. If you REALLY wanted to get up to 45 miles, you would have gotten up 25 minutes earlier every morning and got it done. Just pick back up at 35, then go 40, and then 45. You will only be losing 15 miles total from your whole summer mileage.
