HAHAHAHAHAH!!! I know exactly what you mean! Except I have a pretty good immune system, so I dont get it as often as everyone else does in my family.Pinthin wrote:liz <3's running wrote:Its my birthday, I"m 17 today = ]

happy birthday
Still sick so nothing. I cant swallow, and when I try I feel like i'm going to choke on my own throat (if that makes sense) bummer. Cons of living in a big family: everyone gets sick eventually.

Great start to the weekend huh?
That couldn't have been that bad of an injury. I've seen sprinters in 4 x 200s get hurt like that and they lose about 4 seconds for a 200. Unless you're a sub 50 400m runner it couldn't have been that bad. What are your PRs anyway?spartanrunner wrote:Indoor meet for the past two days.
Friday: lead off of the 4x800...coughed up blood afterwords due to the extremely dry air, that was fun.
Saturday: 500 & 4x400

Your PR in the 400 is very good. I didn't say you weren't hurting, but that you couldn't have been hindered all that much because then you would have been hobbling, whether you wanted to or not. But yeah, I can see you losing 4 seconds in 300m now.FinishingKick wrote:That couldn't have been that bad of an injury. Okay, you gotta understand the situation before saying "it couldn't have been that bad", because believe me, it hurts like hell. First off, I hate letting people down. Second, my team and I had been waiting since 8:00 in the morning...we didn't get to race until 5:30. There was no way I was going to drop out of that race, otherwise we would have just wasted our time. Also, when you have to be carried off of the track, I'd say it was pretty serious. Don't get me wrong, I understand your skepticism, because quite frankly I don't know how I held on, but I don't appreciate being told I wasn't injured.
My PR in the 400 is 50.5
