    EPIC WORKOUT. (They should put this on Flotrack or something.)

    3 mile warm up
    Strides and drills
    2x3.5k, 2x2.5k @ 10k pace or faster, 3 minute recoveries.
    Drills
    8x100m hill sprints
    STILL MORE Drills
    3 mile cool down.

    Total: Approaching 15 miles.

    Interval times:
    3.5k - 13:43 (6:22/mile, ave 94% of MHR)
    3.5k - 13:57 (6:29/mile, ave 95% of MHR)
    2.5k - 9:49 (6:26/mile, ave 94% of MHR)
    2.5k - 9:07 (5:57/mile, ave 98% of MHR)

    We did a 1000 (as fast as we could go), and 2x2000 (also as fast as we could go) with 400 recovery jog in between each (except coach kept urging us faster on those, which was okay). Love it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Tuesday will be my "break through" race. Season has sucked so far.

    okay never mind, I don't feel like writing a lot so I'll just keep it simple.

    we missed our race, thanks to this fucking moronic girl on our team who ran away from us during the warm up. We went looking for her and missed our race. Our coach was already pissed at us because this same girl was being totally immature on the bus ride and was putting signs in the window and throwing bread at the driver and just generally complaining about how she didn't want to be there. When our coach found out that we missed the race, she flipped a shit. She did manage to get us into the open race two and a half hours later. I felt like crap right from the gun, and I was dead last for a while. I ended up coming in 24th place (I passed people), got my first medal ever, and ran 21 seconds off of my PR... at Holmdel, which for those of you who don't know was supposed to be a really hard course but was actually the easiest I've ran all season. The reason why I'm pissed is that this stupid girl ruined my day because if we had run the race we were supposed to, I would have PRd because I felt amazing during our first warm up and it was an easy course and ahh I know it's stupid but it was just such a sucky day Evil or Very Mad

    ehhh I guess that was a long rant after all...

    edit: wow so the bitch on my team who made us miss our race today... she just prank called me. what the fuck is wrong with people?

    alright, so i havn't been on in a while. heres this past week:
    M- easy 2...meet tomorrow
    T- 1.5 mile race 9:41 I pred by 27 seconds since last year at the same course 3rd place
    W-easy 2...day after a meet and another one tomorrow
    TH- 2 mile race 13:11 pred by 1min.7sec. since last year a the same course 4th place
    FRI-another 2 mile race 13:24, legs were tired from having 3 meets in a week. but, an okay time for me 2nd place

    *i was hoping to get sub 14 min for 2 miles this year anddd woot i got 13:11 so i'm pretyy happy. otherwise those two 2 milers were the only 2 milers i have this season...otherwise i have 1 more 1.5 mile race then a 1.5 mile Conference race and then that's it =[

    MS cross is sooo short =[

    and today, was an easy 6 miles (suuuuper slow easy)
