AM - 4 mile easy fartlek (wooork)
PM - Supposed to be 7k tempo, I'll probably cut it down because of the run in the morning, say 5k tempo.

so my internet has been down for the last week

    M-9
    T-5
    W- 4.5
    T-7
    F-3.5
    S- 5.5! Monkeyball Relays!

anyways monkeyball relays is our coach puts you with a partner on the team, he pairs it up so that in theory we should all finish very close together. You and your team mate run alternating 400's until you reach 6m

so its 12x400 with approx 80sec rest;)

my team got 4th out of 11 i think?

    but yeahh it was hard;)

    Race Day!
    PR Day! 21:57!
    woohoo!
FINALLY, I felt good during an entire race.
I almost cried when I crossed the line because I've been running 23s all season and finally a flat course and something amazing happens!
At state last year I ran a 21:58 so this felt awesome!
Another one of my teammates cut a minute off too! CrAzY! Everyone else ran their usual times....oh and I took 11th in the Freshmen/Sophomore race out of 82 runners.

    OH
    MY
    GOD

My race today was so weird. My legs could physically NOT go any faster. They didn't necessarily hurt, they just felt tired, and when I'd increase my stride length my turnover would go way down, and when I'd increase my turnover, my stride would shorten a ton. I was breathing like it was a regular training run. It was so fucking weird. It was probably because I've only done three speed workouts so far this season, and two of them were this week. I felt like a pussy bitch at the end because everyone was like dying, and I was just standing there looking around. I ran 19:40, which really isn't that bad for it feeling that easy. At least I know I'm in aight aerobic shape.

    UHGHGH =[

worst race of my life. I knew it would be slow because it has the beastliest hills EVER, but I didn't expect my whole lower legs to just... kill basically =[ seriously wanted too drop out because I knew my time was so bad I honestly didn't care (and I think I cried through out the entire race No , so thats really embarrasing) I feel so dumb now and just ugh, I probably would have gotten a ribbon because the girl I always beat got like 10th and I usually beat her by at least a good minute. I'm so angry at myself right now and my stupid legs that wont get fixed till I see the doctor angry scream . Its not fair how some people never seem to have leg issues, except from being sore. Mad

But the ferry ride was fun Neutral

    AM - 3.75 fartlek
PM - 3 mile warm up (8:00 pace)
4 mile tempo - (6:17) for the first three, then put the hammer down and did the last one in 5:43.
2 mile cool down (8:00 pace)
