My team very small. This year there are 2 other varsity girls besides me and we have 5 guys from my town and about 7 from the town the we co-op with. So we don't really have any team chants and stuff like that.

~Before Regionals we have a spagetti team dinner. yum yum. & we also either decorate knee high socks or we tye-dye t-shirts.
~After regionals, whoever made it to State and/or is a freshmen, must jump into the lake that is down the road from the race. (Last year it was about 35 degrees out! It was FREEZING!
~For Track & XC, when we go down for state finals we all take pictures jumping on the beds. (Not really a ritual but a fun thing! Coach joins in too!)
~Also for Track & XC State, we go to Chuck E. Cheese un til it closes at 11pm. Basically a blast!

Edit: and getting kicked out of any where we go as a team.

We go at snail pace the day before the race

We got kicked outta subway a couple weeeks ago

In the last two years we got kicked out of:

    Target
    Target again (different time)
    Walmart
    Circuit City
    A local pizza place

If you want the story of any of them just ask.

Oh yeah, i can beat that

some of ur team got banned from Target, pathmark
subway as i said before, the play pen at mcDonalds (no kids were there)
And apparntly we r close to getting kicked out of the park we practice at because of some crazy lady

    i think i can beat that;
    mall every time we go
    vicoria's secret x3
    spencers x 6
    walmart x 2
    borders
    babies r us (don't ask)
    office max
    giant eagle
    goodwill x3

...that's all i can think of off the top of my head. this is just so far in my high school career

yes those are all true...most of them came when we had safari night. All the underclassmen dress up as animals and we give them 5 mins to hide in a store. then the upperclassmen go on a 'safari'. we end up running / chasing them around the store. then tackling them to the ground and carring them out. then we're asked to leave.

victorias secret is just us going in there, goofing around, and getting asked to leave.

we basically try to get kicked out. one time the mall security called the cops and tried to get us in trouble for criminal tresspassing b/c we were asked to leave and we just went and hung out in the parking lot...its all in good fun.

...oh and giant eagle is a pretty common grocery store around here
