Re: Tricky Thursdailies
I just finished a hill workout...2X 30s, then jog down, 60s, 90s, 120s...w/ a jog back down in between each. I did them pretty much as fast as I could... with a 1.5 mile warmup and cool down. Later I'm doing another 5 easy.

Something easy--getting all packed for camp today (leaving Saturday morning at 3).
Maybe an easy 4 or 5? Just want to get all stretched out.

Re: Tricky Thursdailies
So I did the 10 miles in 1:05:32. I wasn't really pushing it, but I wasn't taking it easy. Then with 3 miles to go, I had a dog come out and chase me. I told the owner "Call off your fucking dog" at which point she said something to the effect of "well maybe you shouldn't be running on my street" and she got really angry that I used profanity in front of her son (who was about 12, I'm sure he's heard it before.) Then after some more yelling and her being unable to control her dog, she had the balls to say that her dog wouldn't have bitten me. That made me LIVID, because over the winter I got bit, just after the owner had said that the dog wouldn't bite me. At that point, I said to myself "fuck this shit" and I sprinted off, and the dog chased me, I figured that I'd kick it if it got to close. It didn't, cause it couldn't catch me. I then proceeded to fly through the last 3 miles in under 18 minutes, fueled by my anger at the dog, and I also saw the ex-coach for the university I'm going to, but I couldn't remember his name in time.

Re: Tricky Thursdailies
ran 2.. got paired up with a junior high girl to run with. its our new experiment to get them to try to run their own pace and not just run with friends. it was fun cuz we talked about the jonas brothers and randomly burst out in song(i was with 2 other people that are also in te and our songs were still in our head from practice today)

Re: Tricky Thursdailies
uggh scratch my first daily =/
1.5 on the eliptical
some weights/core
3 miles (which turned into a tempo..I need to slow down..)
Should I do weights/eliptical or bike before or after my run? I usually do before...

aww, that sucks. today when I was riding my bike this little dog came chasing after me. it was trying to bite me & the owners are just like calling its name. that makes me mad. at least I got away from it.

Re: Tricky Thursdailies
Dogs tick me off. My neighbor has a Cane Corso that's always getting out and going after runners/walkers. I've never been bitten because I try to take my sister's dog with me when I can, but one of the boys down the street ended up getting mauled by the thing.
At least it made you run faster?
