    I HOPE IT GOES AWAY.

I think it is just a strain of a muscle somewhere in my leg, and I've been RICEing it yesterday and today, and hopefully it should be good to go for tomorrow. I'm kind of hoping it isn't an IT band problem, because I was looking up different things it could be, and it kind of sounds like that, but I figure, rest fixes everything.

What part of your knee is it and what hurts it?

Just to the right of my knee cap on my left leg.

When I bend or unbend my leg, my knee feels VERY tight and a little sore, and after running about 2 miles all of a sudden it feels like somebody stabbed me in the knee.

    SO THAT IS ALL BAD.

Good news is I can get 2 miles in relatively normally. At least that is how it has been. I'm not going to run much until the soreness goes away though.

runners knee. 30 minutes of non-impact aerobic activity a day such as swimming or easy low gear biking. RICE as much as possible. 3 times a day rotate 10 minutes of ice on, ten off, for an hour. good luck.
