    Post em!

5.25 miles easy, pace was slow and my HR was high, but even though it was only 32, with the windchill at 24, the weather was simply sublime and I was comfortable in shorts and a long sleeved T. BEAUTIFUL spring weather.

Oh, and it was also slow because I had just finished my big lunch, and that was the only stretch of time I had to get my run in.

    4 miles in snow..
that was it, I dont know why but it was.

Probably no school tomorrow, there was 15 cars (yes I counted them) like 5 accidents going up my hill. It was a skating rink, and its stupid because they stop on the hill and then loose their momentum so they get stuck..so basically probably nothing tomorrow unless it melts and i'm free.

First day of track practice! I was so excited, the weather was beautiful(but windy) So, my coach asked everyone(all 8 of us lol) who had been running during the winter, and I was the only one, lol. So, he had the team go for a mile jog and coach made me run 3 miles by myself. My legs felt like led for some reason, so I'm going to take it a little easy tonight and tomorrow so hopefully I'll be in tip top shape for practice!
Oh, and we had to fill out these cards, and when we did it for XC, coach asked us to put our goals down and I asked him if we were doing the same, and he said" Maria, I already know your goal" and I said, "But I never told you it...wait?! You made my goal?!" And he was like, "Yeah". So I asked suspiciously what it si and he said 5:15 for the 1600m and around 11 min for 3200 Suspect. I believe in myself, I just hope I can actually do it.

^^ Seems a bit unrealistic to me. I think you should aim for some easier goals.

Isn't it funny when coaches do things like that? lol One day in my psychology class I walked in and there were a bunch of time written on the board... I was like "Hey whose goals are those coach?" & he was like" Yours." It's like jeesh! They are about the same as mine...except for the time for the 200 is a bit faster than mine.

& I did Nada today. School was closed due to snow...so track didn't happen.

First day of track training with the coach. 2X(600/400 fartlek) with run, jog, run, walk recovery. Times were: 600- 2:09, 2:14, 400- 1:21, 1:22, 600- 2:07, 2:12, 400- 1:19 (walk recovery), 1:14. Great workout albeit the hot conditions.
