Yea, I know that. It would be very hard to prove any documents from 2000 years ago to be absolutely valid. Personally I believe that the Bible is absolutely valid. But you can't compare Jesus to santa for many reasons, and that is one of them.

Jesus is a lot like Santa Clause. Sure the actual person could exist, but neither have magical powers in essence.

yeah you can, they both have "magical powers" and are based on real people, but are not real in the context that we know them now

The bottom line is science can't prove or disprove God. The only way to find out the exact answer is posthumously, and that's what makes faith so special.

Science may not ever be able to prove or disprove a totally transcendent God however they might be able to disprove an imminent god, Jesus for example

Except science has proved there is no reason for god. God was a way to explain the unexplained, and now there is nothing we need to attribute to god now.

Wierd, resorting to the "you can't prove it doesn't exist, though I can't prove anything doesn't exist so it doesn't mean shit" argument.

So what was Jesus for? Matter of fact, what was any theology in the Bible for?

It's quite plausible that Abraham talked to a burning bush, it's the fact that it talked back that is harder to believe.

I mean that it was God talking, not just a random bush. And if you can't prove God does not exist, the fact that you try to make a claim that he does not shows that you are trying to impose your belief on other people. Isn't that what you get mad at Christians for? Wink

interesting how marijuana was found in a 2,500 year old sarcophagus from ancient egypt this year. and since you obviously didn't know, the Nile provides very fertile land. and shrooms are a fungus: not particularly hard to grow

I have a question. If everything is the result of science, can you please explain love. Where did it come from? And im not talking about lust-obviously men and women want to do things with each other for pleasure. I'm talking about when you are truely in love with a person.
