There isn't a local running store anywhere near me. But I was in a running store for the first time in Fargo this last summer.

Ours is cool, because it is staffed by the high school boys and girls xc team. It's slightly overpriced, but the service is absolutely unbeatable, and they have some of the best selection available
That seems hard having to construct a new route each week for hiking. Are there a lot of trails where you live Audience?

Mine is overpriced, but really nice. I think I'll stop going there now that I know what kind of shoes I need.

Re: All your local running stores...
Kelley's Pace would be the local one. Jessie Kelley owns it and for some reason hes kinda famous for some type of marathon stuff i have no idea. He owns like Camire's Athletic Soles andThis stores over priced but they know what theyre doing he only hires experienced runners. I like going to the sister store Camires it's a bit cheaper, more of a drive, and they still know what they're doing.

My local running store was rated in the top 50. They are pretty good and also sell spikes which is a plus.

Re: All your local running stores...
our local one is fleet feet. its really good and the people that work there are really experianced with feet and all...but it is so expensive because all their shoes are like custom made and stuff.

Re: All your local running stores...
Lol the shoes aren't custom made. That's why I think I'm not going to Fleet Feet next time. I under-pronate a little but they always give me flat-footed shoes and I think I'm better off with neutral shoes.eternally_running wrote:our local one is fleet feet. its really good and the people that work there are really experianced with feet and all...but it is so expensive because all their shoes are like custom made and stuff.
