25 hills today for me since I had to run independently of the middle school due to academic decathlon practice.
Did you know that it's possible to talk for 55 minutes all about thymine, a base that is one of four in DNA, including it's history and practical uses?

That's a weird topic. Usually we save serious, longer discussions for after the run.

    We did 45 minutes.

I made a complete idiot of myself, too. We were sprinting down the first hill (it's paved) so that the guys wouldn't run us over, and the girl in front of me took a sharp right and cut me off. Being me, I turned, my legs went out from under me, and I fell on my face in front of everyone. It was extremely entertaining, but vaguely embarassing at the same time.

5K today. Not a very good time but i was happy because we have had two back to back hard days and one easy before. My time was a 17:40 so definitely not great, but acceptable for this race.

    Yet another ball-busting workout.
    2 mile warm up
    strides + drills
    1k(60s), 4k (90s) 2k (2 min) 2k (2 min) 1k (2 min) 1k
(rest in parenthesis) this was on a hilly 1k loop with a grotesque hill, all on grass. This was at 10k race pace, although the 4k was at a notch below, but still above threshold.
    8x100m hill sprints
    More drills
    2 mile cool down.

At least the weather co-operated, a brisk 50 degrees, and a bit breezy.

EDIT: Averaged 4:03 for each km.

    1 Mile warm-up
    Paced 400m intervals x 8
    w/ 300m jog.
(was only suppose to be 200m but I guess you can't just run accross the football field when football practice is going on...lol)
    Then a 1.5 mile cooldown.
