Re: Holy shit
that's scary... I almost ran in a thunderstorm today... but I took a nap instead ... but then I ran later, don't worry.
But that's a problem, b/c where I live is basically all trees. I always thought I was pretty safe b/c the lightning would hit the tree instead of me, but I guess I don't want to be near the tree when it gets hit either.

Re: Holy shit
I was trying to think of the closest I've ever been to dieing, I've been almost hit by cars a few times, but they were never going more than 25 mpw, so I don't think those would have been fatal.
It is so sweet not nearly dieing.

How did you know how much mpw the cars were doing?

Re: Holy shit
I ran in hail today. I didn't try but about 5 minutes into my run it started hailing and raining. The hail was really small and only lasted for a minute then the heavy rain came in. There was a tornado warning in my county as well.
Good thing I have a race tomorrow and only went for a 3 mile run today. I should check the radar before I run from now on.
No lie.

Re: Holy shit
I've never ran in a thunderstorm before...I've ran in snow, hail, and a lovely downpour but never a thunderstorm....I don't think I'll try it though.
