Well, like rain or thunder or just scheduling issues can get in the way.

if there's lightning during your usual run time then run at a different time of day that day. 24 hours in a day btw, lots of chances to run.

Ya, but some of use are sleeping 8 of those hours, working 6 others, and trying to schedule around eating so we don't poop ourselves when we are out there.RawBeginner wrote:ProtestTheZero wrote:Well, like rain or thunder or just scheduling issues can get in the way.

Ya, I've made time 18 days in a row and 39 of the last 44 days. But even you missed a day at some point.RawBeginner wrote:ProtestTheZero wrote:Ya, but some of use are sleeping 8 of those hours, working 6 others, and trying to schedule around eating so we don't poop ourselves when we are out there.RawBeginner wrote:ProtestTheZero wrote:Well, like rain or thunder or just scheduling issues can get in the way.

Why didn't you run? You probably could've gotten in like 20 at 4:30 pace or something.

same.
only I alternate between the gym and running. I have 4 days running 3 gym/alternative. =/
But I'm slowly stopping that so I'll be running 6 probably by next week or so.

Re: How many days has it been...
I take one day off a week... if you do a long run then you should definately have either a day off for cross training or a really easy recovery run after the long run because your muscles don't condition when you're running. They build up when you're resting.
Since the long run generally breaks your muscles down the most, it's good to give them a rest day after so that they can repair themselves.
anyway, I took Sunday off.

2 days because of camp.
Usually I try to take a day off every two weeks, just to give time to recover. I don't generally like to do more than that, because it makes me feel lazy and slow....
