After you read Huck Finn it's all just a blur of events. I have respect for Mark Twain and his works but how he writes his books (sentence and word structure), I just can't stand that. Each night I would read our assigned section and then read what SparkNotes said was in that section to see if what I was reading was accurate. It was interesting when you came to class and there was three different opinions on what happened when we're all reading the same book.

I wasn't a fan. I'm not a fan of most really old stuff either. The oldest stuff I can really enjoy at all is some of Shakespeare's plays (except when they're performed I can't stand them..which I think is the opposite of most people, but whatever, lol.)
