i totally fucked my car up

*whew* ok, im trying to calm myself down..

So i was at my friends house today, and i was driving home from my house with my other friend Brenden next to me, and i turn the corner to drive down his street and i hit a huge pot hole, my whole car fucking shifts left and i hear a weird spinning sound. I stop the car then it then the noise stops. I start driving again and everything seems fine. When i get to his house i get out to look and my right front rim is fuck. Like seriously a whole chunk is missing out of the bottom of it, and theres a peice of jagged metal sticking out. I drive home in a panicing state (but the car is still driving fine). So i tell my dad what happened and he's all calm and goes "aright well lets have a look.." as he walks out there and see's it he starts freaking out and saying its undrivable because the tire is going to fucking pop and shit. Then we go inside and he goes, ok tell me what REALLY happened, so basically i just tell him i took a curve to fast *(and there was a pothole)* right in the middle of the road. Then he starts screaming at me about how i don't give a shit what happens to my car and how im sooo irresponsible. Now since my car is "undrivable" my dad is going to have to drive me fucking everwhere. AND im having problems with my girlfriend of over a year and a half, could this day get any worse:(?

ouch, that really sucks...I'd work the problems out with the gf first, and then worry about having your dad drive you everywhere.

Meh, I don't have a car, and I don't have parents to drive me around. My brother gives me a ride for doing the shopping, but I used to have to take that home by hand as well. Man up! jk jk.

that sucks, and i agree with alex, you dont wanna mess anything up with your girlfriend, so dont complain about your car 24/7 to her, or else she will probably get upset.

Is it just the hubcap that's the problem, or is it the whole rim?

If it's just the hubcap, take it off, and keep driving. As for the gf, well, good luck!

calm down..and just sit down with the gf and talk and say how much you care about her and want to work everything out.
then yeah after that worry about the car...give it a while then try to negotiate with your parents maybe you can pay for it to be fixed? idk but suck up to your parents don't show your mad at them and everything and do something good like get an a on a test then butter them up a bunch thennnnnnnnnnnnnn talk to them about it. if their anything like my parents do not get angry at them or else you driving with your dad lol.

In my two hours total of driving I have never done that, I must be a better driver.

You lived most of your life having your parents drive you everywhere so its not as bad as you think. Good luck with the girl problem.

Same here ^ except my driving friends graduated, I'm stuck with friends that dont have a car =/

If I lived near town I would walk/bike everywhere..Think of it this way Amherst, you're helping the environment

I stalled my dad's stick shift plenty of times. Once I stalled it in a intersection, luckly it was right by my house which is a low populated area so no one saw me/crashed into the back of me.
