    800: lulz i don't care.
    1600: 4:44?
    3200: 9:45

Misc., beginning of season, not-so-important goals: break 10 first meet, beat some well known class of '11 runners in a 3200, redeem my self from a meet i got last in the 1600 and 3200 in last year.

Hmmm...I've got to think about this one...
I've told my coach that time doesn't matter to me this year. After not making it to state last year, that is my only goal for this year. If that means me going way under 50 in the 300s then so be it...I'll do whatever it takes and I won't be denied again.

My Goal: Make Individual State Finals

    Current PRs:
    1600 - 5:55
    3200 - 13:37
    5k road - 20:30

I already know my track PRs will improve because my 2 mile splits in races this year are faster than my two miles I ran in the spring.

If I do the same events:
    1600: 5:30 - 5:45 maybe
    3200: 12:45 - 13:00 maybe

    Pole Vault:
10'5" maybe. Something that will get me in contention for counties or better.

400: I want to try that this year. I just want to be the best on my team. Any tips for base training for something like this so short or should I just log miles as usual?

Since I've never actually run track before, and the only reason I'm doing it this year is to help with my speed for sprint tris, I'll post my goals for triathlon season (my first race is February).

    GOALS:
Top 5% at a national triathlon
Place in top 30 at Junior Elite nationals
Run under 22 in a sprint
    Run under 45 in olympic
    Beat half marathon PR
Run under 21 in a road race
