my school offers crap.

same here pinthin. my school is too small to have cool classes.

We use to have a class in my school called lifetime.
They went for bike rides, canoeing at the dam, made deer mounts, and stuff like that.

probably the toughest schedual ive had by far:

JUNIOR (high school)

1: Graphic Design (dual credit*)
2: Honors Math (dual credit*)
3: AP Computer Science
4A: Mentoring**
4B: Lunch
5: Honors Gov't/Econ
6: Honors Chemistry (dual credit*)
7: Spanish 3 (dual credit*)
8: English 3 Honors

* dual credit means i take classes @ my high school that local colleges accept as college courses and give me college credit. so technically im in high school and enrolled in 2 local colleges. but hey, its all FREE! free college baby

**Mentoring is a class to help incoming freshman adapt/succeed in high school. upperclassmen (like me) are the "mentors"

I dont get how you can do that, dont you need bio to learn chem..and chem to learn physics??

ya thats pretty unusual...did you not take any science the past 2 years or something? haha
my senior year i took anatomy and physics but that wasnt bad because they were soo different

Block schedules don't help unless you're going to Colorado College.

so I got sick of waiting for my schedule, and with a little help from a family friend in the school system, managed to hack the high school's computer and get my schedule:

5- Digital Toolkit/Comparative Anatomy (1 semester each)

9- Journalism

6: Lunch

8: AP Chemistry
9: Study Hall/AP Chemistry Lab

My favorite part is the gap of easiness from 3rd period to 6th period.

first semester

1. medical health technology
2. medical health technology
3. algebra 2 (10 kids in the class[1 girl])
4. adv social studies 3

second semester

1. LATE ARRIVAL<3:D
2. adv english 11
3. chem 1
4. medical health technology

at my school:

you have to take biology, before you can take AP biology. and its not physics, its physiology, like the human body. and you have to have taken chemistry to be in AP bio, or are taking it while you are in it.

Period 1- AP US History
2- Spanish 3 honors
3- Ethics
....semester 2 period 3 I have economics honors
4- AP Biology
5- AP American Literature/Composition
6- Physiology of Exercise Honors- so far this class is a huge disappointment. Yesterday we did a lab which consisted of running for 3 minutes and noticing that our heart rate went up. Wow. I didn't know that was going to happen. Today we listened to the teacher tell stories about her house troubles for 3/4 of the class then we watched a few min. of a movie that we were supposed to write down 3 word we didn't know... like for instance VO2 max. Except I know what that is. And I kind of doubt there are going to be too many that I don't know.

Anyhway, 2nd emester i have Justice 6th period
7- Algebra II honors

LOL expert runs a 1/2 mile, thats like intense..

I hate my schedule. 3 of my original teachers quit and they taught the ap honor classes =[ . great. anyways schedule is pretty easy:

American lit (no honors or ap, teacher decided to leave)
alg 2
US history (NO honors or AP again and thats my best subject )
Chemistry (again no honors teacher is quitting)
food and nutrition
spanish 2

my classes stay the same except for food and nut. changing to ethnic foods.

8TH GRADE MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHEDULE

7:50-8:40 AM--Pre-AP Science
8:44-9:30--Gemonetry Honors
9:34-10:28--Drama
10:30-11:50--P.E., Homeroom, and lunch
12:00-1:00 PM--Pre-AP U.S. History
1:05-2:00 PM--Pre-AP Language Arts

I think I have a good schedule...so far AP US seems like a lot of work and AP Calc seems really tricky, but
most of it is pretty manageable
