i don't think you'll burn out, but i doubt you'll have any massive PR's late in the season. but you'll still be pretty fast. just not peaked right.Running With Scissors wrote:If you come here I'll race you in any distance. I'm not going to burn out.

Re: The Next World Record
I know that. I'm going to do a lot of LSD runs over the winter and I'll be in swimming so the big prs are going to come this track season when I drop my mile down into the low 30's, high 20's. Of course I have to break 2 in the 800 and 10 in the 2 mile on top of that but if my 800 repeats are 2:08, 2:15, 2:14, 2:09 on a slight up hill foot path with out spikes I think breaking 2 will be easy.

Wrong. Breaking 2 is less common than breaking 4:30 or 10:00 and IMO harder...a lot of it depends on your 400.
If you run a 55 or something then you're underestimating the 2 minute mark. If you can run 52 then you've
done enough endurance work to break it this spring.

It seems to be significantly harder than breaking 10 and slightly harder than breaking 4:30
Purdy says 2:00 = 4:28 1600 = 9:42 3200

I think my auntie lives in carbondale? something like that.
All I know is my cousin is a total hippie, pretty much all of my cousins are (which is why we get along so well ) I just wish we didn't all live so far away.
