FK, I could see you going sub 17 pretty consistently towards the end of the year. Your mile time would indicate like 17:20 on an XC course. 16:50 on the track.

I wanna go sub-18. I think I can do it if I get up to about 50 mpw during the summer.
FK, I could see you going sub 17 pretty consistently towards the end of the year. Your mile time would indicate like 17:20 on an XC course. 16:50 on the track.

Shouldn't be hard as there are only five girls on the team and you only need ten points to get it hahaha.
Is five enough for a scoring team??
I think here you have to have seven!
We *might* be getting a couple middle schoolers though, but at the moment we only have five people.
better then us, we need 5 for scoring.. and currently we only have 3 =[ My school sucks. I've tried really hard on recruiting people, but for some reason volleyball is really popular (even though they lost all their games but one last season!! I KNOW they realllly suck) ughhh
The guys team is up to like 10 now, mostly freshmen though
anyways my goal is to make it too state or run low 20's . and try really hard to not get injured, which is something I'm pretty good at.
like, "hey, you know what team you could make?!?!?! XC!!!!"
Lame, I know, but worth a shot.
thats a good idea, only no one gets cut, our school is too small. But they'd rather be benchwarmer jv then actually get to play sport because thats what all the popular girls do

Same here. I ran a 20:54 yesterday, which is pretty close to what I ran at teh end of the season LAST year, WITH 400m and hill repeats. I haven't done any of that yet, so I have hopes that I'll do well by the time XC season rolls around. At the end of the season I NEED to be running about mid to low 16s for my team to go to CIF.

What grade are you in? 6 minutes is a pretty drastic drop.*runfast* wrote:HXC_Runner2012 wrote:I'd like to stop sucking.

I thought it was 21:54, which would be 6, but as it is 20:54, it's 5 minutes, so you were wrong too.AudienceOfOne wrote:20 minutesFK wrote:What grade are you in? 6 minutes is a pretty drastic drop.*runfast* wrote:HXC_Runner2012 wrote:I'd like to stop sucking.

I want to get under 20... so in the 19s for 5k... but Idk if I can do that. Really, I just wanted to stay on varsity. I've heard we're getting some good freshman and I'm worried they'll bump me off!
