I'm screwed

I just got back from the cardiolagist. He said my heart murmur is normal but that I have and oversized left cornery artery. He said it may be caused from my running but isn't sure. I'm apparantly very close to the cutoff when it gets serious so what should I do? Halt training or continue like it never happened?

First off don't listen to anything R*F says. there is no way for any of us to understand the severity of your condition and it sounds like you don't even know at this point. you need to talk with your doctor, family, andyone else who understands you and your goals that can give the advice you need

i said I would keep running, idk wat he should do.

Buy a heart rate monitor, and make sure your heart isn't doing some crazy shit while you're running.

that sucks big time. I feel sorry for you but the I have no idea how to help you. Just keep a list of the wierd stuff you feel and give it to the doctor next time you see him.

But I really don't feel anything. It's a congetial heart defect and it might be running induced but thats a small chance so they are going to give me a stress test next week on the treadmill. They think it was caused by a serious fever I had when I was younger.

Well a kid on my team told me to keep it around 150-160 for 30-40 minutes a day for a week, and slowly add time until I can run at a normal pace with it around 150-160 bpm. So I've been literately jogging on the treadmill for the past couple days.

I don't think I would run. If I did, I would just do it really easy. Maybe do a little easy biking too, as well as weights and core and stretching. Just to keep you doing something and fit.

just to be safe, don't do anything till you find out more.

I'm just going to take it easy until Wednesday when I have my Stress Test (where they run you on the treadmill until you can't go anymore).
