WHO CAN'T WAIT?

For the proper XC season (closer to the start of school for most I'd imagine, when practices become mandatory if they're not, races are getting really close, etc) to start???

I can't wait, lol... At first I couldn't wait for team practices to start now I'm dieing for XC to start for real to

Since it's probably going to be a year from this fall, I sure hope I can wait. (I'm going to be redshirted for my first year of University)

i'm not ready yet, need to get more mileage.

I don't want it to start yet.
That would mean summer only has a month left.
And I don't feel fast enough yet.

But otherwise, I can't wait!

im excited for it but no need to rush summer lol.

I can't wait. My teammates all live too far away for us to practice together (it's kind of a rural district), so everyone's by themselves for the summer. XC means we'll finally have people to run with!

i kinda like running by myself.

I kinda like running by myself.

Theoretically, I do too, except that when we run together we go so much faster. We spend the whole time interacting and so we're more inclined to dismiss the idea of chilling out or going slow. Plus, everyone's showing off. Even if you want to stop, you can't, because everyone else is there.

^^ kinda the same but I actually run faster by myself, because then I dont feel pressured to run faster. I dont do well under pressure! haha
plus then I dont have to run and talk, I get to listen to "me muzak =] "

Yeah, it kind of depends on the situation. If there's just enough pressure for a decent adrenaline rush I'm okay, but if I stress about it for hours I get worn out and then I run like a three-legged hippo.

running with other people makes you a better runner. period.

well no one on my team works so i usually run with people from other teams and stuff if i want to run with other people. and running with other people isn't always better. my idiot brother lol ran with people that were wayyy to fast for him and then never had easy days so he ended up getting yet another stress fracture.
